We are also members of Physio First, the Organisation of Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice (OCPPP).

This ensures that we adhere to strict rules of professional conduct and regularly update and maintain our skills and knowledge.

fiona collier physiotherapistFiona Collier has worked in the Poole area for over 25 years, specialising in musculoskeletal and recent injuries. Having worked in Broadstone for many years Broadstone Physiotherapy was set up with a new purpose built practice. She is a member of the Physiotherapy Pain Association (PPA), the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports Medicine (ACPSM) and the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP)

Outside of work Fiona has a grown up family, likes walking her dogs, gardening and keeping a few chickens

Mr Simon Woolger gained his BSc in Physiotherapy at Birmingham University in 2000. He has, since then, specialised in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy both in the NHS and privately in Industry. Simon is married to a Physiotherapist and lives in Dorset. Outside work Simon is involved in music and enjoys playing in a band!

 

kate cadbury physiotherapistKate Cadbury qualified as a physiotherapist from the University of Southampton in 2003. Since qualifying Kate has specialised in the area of musculoskeletal, orthopaedic rehabilitation and sports injuries.

She spent 18 months working in private practice in New Zealand; working with professional surfers, elite ski racers and rugby teams. Kate’s personal interests include running, skiing, mountain biking and going to the gym.

 

Liz Pigot - Chartered Physiotherapist, Broadstone Physio, Dorset


Liz Pigot qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist from the University of Brighton in 2002. On qualifying Liz worked at Bournemouth NHS Hospital and then specialised in musculoskeletal injuries, sports injuries and rehabilitation.

More recently Liz has gained a Masters Degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy and is developing a successful equine business treating horses and animals. Liz has worked for Southampton Academy football club and has also spent two winters working at the Val d’Isere ski resort in France treating skiers and snowboarders.

This work involved biomechanical assessment of skiers and treating members of the British Ski Demonstration team 2011. Liz’s interests include skiing, kitesurfing and horse riding.

 

Tom Cadbury gained a Sport Science degree in 1999 before qualifying as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2003 from the University of Southampton. Tom has specialised in musculo-skeletal and sports injury management and is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP).

Tom spent 18 months working in New Zealand working in private practice and worked with elite alpine skiers, professional surfers and rugby teams. Most recently Tom has become a specialist in Trauma Orthopaedics at Poole Hospital. Tom’s interests include cycling, skiing and training his cocker spaniel.

Holly Hupfield qualified as a Physiotherapist from Southampton University in 2002 and has specialised in neurology for eight years.   She uses an integrated approach including the Bobath Concept, motor learning and strength training with the ultimate aim of improving movement, function and quality of life.

Working for the last four years at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in London, Holly developed valuable skills in neurological rehabilitation including conditions such as stroke, multiple sclerosis and head injuries.  She had the opportunity to treat people with complex and rare conditions and worked alongside the Consultant Neurologist in Spasticity Clinics.

Having returned to Dorset to settle, Holly is also working in the neurological therapy team at Poole Hospital.  Her interests include coastal walks, kayaking and spending time with family and friends.
